We want our members to be safe and work safely.

Beach-lines, hairpins, hatches, nets and weedlines, pumps, winches, forklifts, machines and heavy or repetitive work all have the ability to injure, maim or sometimes kill.

Working at sea is dangerous in and of itself.

The Union promotes safe work practices and equipment that protect our members.

And, if an injury occurs, we are there to help – with WCB – or with negotiated benefits in your Benefit Plans.
