UFAWU Meets With Minister Osborne, Others

Today, UFAWU-Unifor met with Minister of Land, Water and Resource Stewardship Josie Osborne.

Union leadership and staff explained the devastating impact that the PSSI closures had on fishers, the desperate need for support akin to what the agriculture industry has received, and more.

Others present included Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries and Aquaculture Fin Donnelly; Assistant Deputy Minister of Water, Fisheries and Coastal Policy and Planning James Mack; and Unifor Western Regional Director Gavin Mcgarrigle.
