FOPO Releases Report on Foreign Ownership and Corporate Concentration
The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans (FOPO) has published its report on "Foreign Ownership and Corporate Concentration of Fishing Licenses and Quota."
Adopted on January 20, 2022, the report stems from a study conducted between May 8, 2023, and June 5, 2023.
The report puts forward 19 recommendations addressing issues related to foreign ownership and corporate concentration.
