The Survey is an important part of a Study about MPA Impacts on commercial fish harvesters. The Impact Study is a collaboration between T. Buck Suzuki, UFAWU-Unifor and researchers at the University of Victoria, BC.
The results of this survey will help to
- understand how MPAs affect the social, cultural, and economic aspects of the commercial fishing sector
- make recommendations for future monitoring of the impacts of MPAs on the commercial fisheries sector
Confidential data collected in this survey may also be used in the future to compare effects through time.
This survey will take approximately 20 - 30 minutes to complete.
The information that you will share will be kept confidential.
If you provide your email address at the end of the survey to receive a summary of the results, it will be stored separately so that the survey remains confidential.
By completing and submitting the survey, your free, prior, and informed consent is implied. Your completion and submission indicate that you understand the above considerations about your participation and that you consent to participating in this collaborative research project.
