BC Crab Harvesters Need Your Help!

DFO plans to reallocate 50% of the inside commercial crab fishery in Crab Area E and 25% of the outside crab fishery to the five Nuu-cha-nulth Nations on April 1. No consultative process or immediate mitigation or compensation plan for harvesters was announced. This will ruin the livelihoods of many harvesters and family-run businesses.
